Allgood’s Sixth-annual Light the Night Walk Helps Provide Hope for a Cure

Each fall, friends, families and co-workers gather in towns across America to participate in the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Light the Night Walk. It’s an evening of celebration and hope for those battling cancer and an opportunity to raise awareness.

This October 10, Allgood employees, families and friends joined 3,000 other people at Centennial Olympic Park, walking several miles at twilight while holding illuminated balloons – white for survivors, red for supporters and gold ones in memorial of those that have passed on. Since joining the event six years ago, Allgood has raised more than $185,000 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. We’ve also spearheaded efforts to have Georgia Pest Control Association companies join together to create a “Partnership for a Cure”. This partnership of pest control companies and their customers has raised more than $750,000 for those battling blood-related cancers.

For Allgood, supporting the Light the Night Walk has helped create a more meaningful workplace for our employees and enhanced customer relationships. We extend our immense thanks to all of you for supporting us in this great cause and hope to see you again next year.
